Cookie Policy
Last Updated: March 12, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Dublin Insight Studio Ltd ("Dublin Insight Studio", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit DublinInsight.cyou (the "Website"). This Cookie Policy supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more broadly.
Cookies help the Website function reliably, remember your preferences, and (if you choose) help us understand how visitors use lessons and navigation. Some cookies may be set by third parties when analytics or marketing features are enabled. We do not use cookies to collect sensitive personal data such as health information or government identification numbers.
What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They often contain a unique identifier and can be used to remember information between page views and visits. Cookies can be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party") or by other services embedded on that site ("third-party").
In addition to cookies, websites may use pixel tags (sometimes called web beacons) and server-side event logging to measure performance, detect fraud, and understand which pages are visited. Where these technologies are used for analytics or marketing, we treat them as part of the same consent-based categories described below.
Cookie lifespans and types
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. They are typically used for essential functions such as keeping the site stable as you move between pages.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or you delete them. They are often used to remember preferences such as cookie choices.
- First-party cookies are set by DublinInsight.cyou.
- Third-party cookies are set by providers whose tools may be used on the Website (for example, analytics or advertising measurement). These only activate when you consent to the relevant category.
Cookie categories we use
We organise cookies into three categories. The category names and behaviour match the consent options shown in our cookie banner and cookie preferences panel.
1) Essential cookies (always active)
Essential cookies are required for the Website to function and for your cookie preferences to be remembered. These cookies do not require consent because disabling them would prevent core features from working correctly.
- Site session continuity: helps the Website operate reliably and maintain basic state.
- Cookie preference storage: remembers whether you accepted, rejected, or customised cookie categories.
- Security and integrity: supports basic protections against abuse (for example, preventing malformed requests).
2) Analytics cookies (optional, consent required)
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the Website so we can improve lessons, navigation, and content clarity. When enabled, we may use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with IP anonymisation settings. We use analytics data in aggregated form; it is used to answer questions like which pages are most read, how long lessons are viewed, or where users drop off in a learning path.
We do not use analytics cookies to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We also do not use analytics data to infer sensitive information about visitors.
3) Marketing cookies (optional, consent required)
Marketing cookies help measure campaign performance and show relevant content. If enabled, these may be used to understand which content led to a workshop enquiry or which pages were visited after arriving from an advertisement. Marketing cookies may also support remarketing and audience creation, where permitted by law and platform policies.
Marketing cookies are only activated after you explicitly consent. You can withdraw consent at any time through cookie preferences (see below). Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing.
Cookie table
The table below lists cookies commonly used when the relevant categories are enabled. Exact cookies present in your browser may vary depending on configuration, browser settings, and whether you have consented to optional categories.

Third-party providers
If you enable analytics or marketing cookies, some data may be processed by third-party providers to deliver those functions. We use these providers as service partners for measurement and performance. We do not permit these providers to use Website data for their own independent commercial purposes.
- Google LLC (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads measurement, tag management when configured)
- Meta Platforms, Inc. (campaign measurement and marketing attribution when configured)
- Cloudflare (content delivery and security services that may process IP information for threat detection)
How to manage your cookie preferences
You can manage cookie preferences at any time in two ways:
- Use the Manage cookie preferences link in the Website footer to open the cookie banner and access preference options.
- Change your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies may affect how the Website functions.
If you prefer, you can also use provider tools (where available):
- Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
- Google Ads settings
- Meta ad preferences
- Your Online Choices (EU)
Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, or how the Website operates. When changes are material, we will provide a clear notice on the Website. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest version.
